Dr. Harianawala brings 20-plus years of CMC and supply chain experience in the pharma/biotech industry. He has contributed to the development and successful global registration of solid oral products (Iclusig, Brigatinib, Renagel, Renvela, Cerdelga, and Entecavir). He has extensive experience in the development and commercialization of oral, parenteral, and drug–device combination products in different therapeutic areas.
He has held various positions of increasing responsibility in areas of research and product development, technical operations, and CMC at Bristol- Myers Squibb, Genzyme, Zalicus, Ariad, Taris Biomedical , and Stevanato Group. He is a co-author on several global patents. Dr. Harianawala holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Connecticut.
