Kevin Mills, PhD
Founder and Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Mills is an expert in the field of DNA repair and genomic instability, with more than 20 years of experience in basic and translational research. He previously held appointments as Associate Professor of Genetics at the Jackson Laboratory, and Associate Director for Translational Partnerships in the Jackson Laboratory Cancer Center, and was a member of the Tufts Sackler School faculty and the University of Maine Graduate School. Dr. Mills has published more than 30 peer reviewed research articles in many of the top peer reviewed scientific journals. He is a member of the board of directors for the Maine Cancer Foundation, and external advisor for the Maine Medical Center Research Institute (MMCRI). Dr. Mills has served on grant review committees at numerous institutions including the NIH, the Norris Cotton Cancer Center and Dartmouth-Hitchcock, the Maine Cancer Foundation. Dr. Mills received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and did postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School.
